This is a centre for Children with disabilities from Manyara and Arusha. It’s where we receive children with disabilities who need surgery ready to be treated by hospitals with surgical specialists and paediatricians for children.
After surgery, children receive surgical and other nursing care at the hospital, and later at the centre after being discharged. Children are allowed to their respective homes when they recover.

Some of the kids are retained at the centre due to the long distance to the places they come from as well as high travel costs back home. Normally after hospital discharge kids are scheduled to go back to the hospital after a week for a check-up and other medical care. others take a month while others attend clinics regularly depending on the patient conditions.

The centre focuses on a child from far away as well as children from very vulnerable backgrounds.
